Star Alliance: In-Aiport Digital Experience

I worked with Edenspiekermann to create a mobile prototype for an airline of Star Alliance that would elevate the layover experience between flights. I chose to focus on Asiana Airlines. The challenge was the assuage the many concerns that fliers had during layovers. I started by conducting research and gathering user data from anonymous surveys to identify key insights of the issues that fliers faced while in a layover.
The findings were used to create a user persona and user journey map for the typical economy flier at an airport. These helped guide the design for the three different scenarios for the mobile protoype, each one addressing a key issue found from the research. The mobile prototype uses accent colors that adhere to Asiana Airlines’s brand and typefaces that are designed for mobile usage.
